I’m quite happy to digest the weird and wonderful world of the Lamb, interpreting lyrics of the ‘Carpet Crawlers’ or feeling panic from ‘In the Cage’. While at the next moment being angry at the world during ‘Land of Confusion’ and contemplating political cause and effect of the ‘Domino’.

Genesis originally toyed with the idea of creating a side-long suite during the recording of the album “Duke”. Not wanting to draw comparisons to Supper’s Ready, the band decided to split up the suite and disperse the songs throughout the album.

The order would have been Behind the Lines, Duchess, Guide Vocal, Turn It On Again, Duke’s Travels, Duke’s End.
