Spinal Tap are a fictional English heavy metal band created by American comedians and musicians Michael McKean (as lead singer and co-lead guitarist David St. Hubbins), Christopher Guest (as lead guitarist Nigel Tufnel) and Harry Shearer (as bassist Derek Smalls).

Lego stop motion video for the soundtrack version of “Tonight I’m Gonna Rock You Tonight” from This is Spinal Tap. It’s too bad that legalities kept the clip out of the planned Spinal Tap tour DVD release, but it was used by the band in concert which is a pretty big shout out.
