If you’re a guitar enthusiast, there’s a good chance you’ve admired the rich, crunching tones of a Gibson Les Paul. Hungarian builder LEGO Revival has taken that admiration to new heights with their life-sized LEGO replica of this iconic instrument—and it’s nothing short of extraordinary.

Months before starting, LEGO Revival looked at their own guitar and wondered, “Can I make a LEGO brick version of it?” After some research, they discovered others had attempted similar builds. Determined to make something uniquely their own, they set out to create this stunning replica. The result? A model so faithful to the original that the only non-LEGO elements are the strings.

The mark of a great 1:1 scale replica is when you can’t immediately tell it’s made of plastic bricks, and this build achieves that effortlessly. I was particularly struck by how well the back of the fretboard captures the real guitar’s curvature—it’s an exceptional feat of design.

The fretboard itself is a true triumph, utilizing clever Studs-Not-On-Top (SNOT) building techniques and bars to deliver an impressively realistic look. One standout feature is the ability to swap the pickups, from the classic single-coil P90s to the double-coil humbuckers shown here. Introduced in the 1950s, humbuckers revolutionized guitar sound by eliminating the hum from single-coils (hence the name) and have been synonymous with Les Pauls ever since.
