When you think of Las Vegas legends, one name immediately comes to mind—Wayne Newton. Known as Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton’s career spans decades, captivating audiences with his unmistakable voice, charismatic stage presence, and timeless hits like Danke Schoen and Red Roses for a Blue Lady.
At Musical Brick, we’ve had the incredible opportunity to bring this iconic entertainer into the world of LEGO with a custom-designed minifigure. This project began when Wayne Newton’s merchandising team reached out, intrigued by our previous work creating LEGO-style figures of rock legends like Queen and Genesis.
The Making of Wayne Brickton
To capture Wayne’s signature look, we designed a figure dressed in a classic black suit with a bow tie, reminiscent of his elegant stage attire. A key feature of the figure is the gold microphone—one of Wayne’s most recognizable stage elements. While LEGO doesn’t produce an entirely gold microphone, we ensured authenticity by using official LEGO elements, staying true to our philosophy of high-quality, genuine parts.
After careful prototyping, we shipped the final design to Wayne Newton’s team, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Wayne himself was impressed with the miniature tribute, and his team even sent back a signed postcard as a token of appreciation—a proud addition to our collection!
Available for Fans
These exclusive Wayne Newton minifigures will be available for purchase on his official website and at his live shows. It’s a special collector’s item for fans who want to celebrate Mr. Las Vegas in a truly unique way.
We’re honored to have worked on this project and to contribute to Wayne Newton’s legacy in a small but meaningful way. Stay tuned for more exciting collaborations—because at Musical Brick, the connections keep building!
